DNA double helix pendant was created for a client who wanted to make a gift to her daughter on the occasion of graduating in medicine. After that I had another requests for similar projects so I created whole line with pendants and earrings in straight and round variants.
Products shown on pictures are made of:
- silver – 3d printed in wax using Multi Jet Modelling (MJM) process and then cast in silver using lost wax method
- gold – 3d printed using Binder Jetting technique (glue on steel powder), then glue was replaced with bronze in infusion process and then it was electroplated with 24K gold
- white round – 3d printed in ABS using Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM)
- white straight – 3d printed in Polyamide using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technique
